Welcome to my site, my name is Dom. Orchard (aka Riftor). I am currently a student at Warwick University in the UK, studying Computer Science. My academic interests include many areas of computing, especially programming related. I enjoy many programming languages, and know to a greater of lesser degree; Python, Perl, C, SML, Common Lisp, Haskell, PHP, web related markups + javascript, Java, x86 and 68k assembly, Ruby. When I am not studying I am a web applications developer, writing with Python (mostly), serving under mod_python, and using a lot of fun Ajax technology. I enjoy a good problem, and yes... am basically a geek.

Outside of computing I have many other interests. I like to dabble with music (I play piano and tinker with bass guitar) and art (I love to paint). I am also a committed Christian, and am a bible-study leader at Warwick Uni. I also love to dance, and generally don't mind making a fool of myself ;). I like to stay in shape, and attempt to run around sometimes, and play squash too. Uhm.. enough about me... check out my site, my bits and bobs, I hope you enjoy it and can help to contribute. If you would like to contact me privately (i.e. not via comments on this site, please e-mail me at either
