This site contains information about current undergraduate research in the field of Mobile Robotics being carried out in the University of Warwick Department of Computer Science.

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick designed and built a differential drive robot, equipped with ultrasonic and laser range finders, bump sensors, a CAN network, onboard control system and computer systems. This robot was built for use in undergraduate and postgraduate research within the department. The details of work carried out on various aspects of the robot to aid future research are discussed on this site following research funded by the Warwick URSS in 2007.

Current work 2008/2009 - Currently a new team of undergraduates is working with the robot for their 4th year project. We hope to have a new website/wiki hosted by the University of Warwick to support all the new data and provide resources for future groups of students. Watch this space!

Information and API code can be found in the Sensors and Motors for input and output systems on the robot. Applications research including Functional Reactive Programming and navigation systems can be found in the sections Reactive and Navigation.
